New Book "Pets and the Afterlife 3: Message from Spirit Dogs" Follows Amazon Best-Sellers

WASHINGTON -- Best-selling author and pet medium Rob Gutro announced the publication of his eighth book, "Pets and the Afterlife 3: Messages from Spirit Dogs." This is the third book in a successful series that teaches grieving pet parents how pets communicate from the afterlife and focuses exclusively on signs from dogs in afterlife.

According to the 2019-2020 National Pet Owners Survey, sixty-seven percent of U.S. households, or about 85 million families, own a pet. "Coping with pet loss is extremely stressful and is like losing a child to me and many others," Gutro said. "Two of my dogs passed when I was finishing this book, and they provided amazing signs they are still around, as are everyone's dogs."

 

Through illustrative stories of how pets in spirit give signs to either their pet parents directly, or through interpretive readings with Rob, readers will learn how to recognize and interpret signs on their own from their pets who have passed. Also included is a chapter written by Dr. William Charmak, a licensed psychologist whom describes ways of coping with the loss of a beloved pet.

"I wrote this book to bring comfort to people who lost a pet and explain how our dogs and cats give us messages from the other side," Gutro said. He has learned that when it comes to spirits, there is no such thing as a coincidence. He cautions though that people should not jump to conclusions and think everything is a sign. "There has to be a personal meaning or connection," he said.

Dolly's Spirit Sends a Sign to Jane 300 Miles Away

Because many of you know that I'm a medium and I have many friends who are tuned in to
how people and pets communicate from the afterlife, they let me know when there's a sign from me from a loved one or if they received a sign from someone they know. Since Dolly passed last Thursday, Oct. 22nd, she's been quite active. In fact, I've written a chapter in my upcoming Pets and the Afterlife 3 book about her signs (as well as Franklin's from May 2020).

   Here's one: 

On Oct. 23, my friend Jane from Mass. texted me to see if I received a sign from Dolly. Within an hour, Dolly came to her knowing she would share the sign with me.

 Here's the story in Jane's words: On Friday, October 23, I finished up work and checked my social media. I saw the sad news on the blog that my friend Rob's Weimaraner, Dolly had passed away. I immediately sent Rob a text message saying how sorry I was and that I was looking forward to hearing about any messages he would get from her. I then went for my nightly walk. 

Shortly after starting my walk I took a left turn instead of going straight like I normally do. [Dolly obviously influenced her to take that path]. A few minutes later I heard a rustling in the leaves coming from the woods beside me. Out of the woods stepped this beautiful Weimaraner dog, he was alone. He stood and looked straight at me, barked and then turned around and ran back into the woods. I was taken by surprise because I had just texted to Rob about Dolly. I tried to go after the dog but when I went in to look he was gone. 

 Jane texted me about this and asked if it was a sign from Dolly that I needed to share with you. I told her it was indeed! 

Jane also noted that she had never seen that Weimaraner before and she's been walking that neighborhood for quite a while. 

 Spirits can make things happen to convey their presence. They influence us to do things that we normally wouldn't do, like having Jane take a different route so that she would run into that Weimaraner. There's no such thing as a coincidence when it comes to spirit.

DOXIE DREAMING: A GOOD SIGN- One of the people I met is also a Dachshund parent like me, and she told me that her Dachshund had passed. However, she told me that recently, her red, smooth-haired Dachshund had come to her in a dream to let her know that he was okay on the other side. Dreams are the most common way that spirit can communicate with us. People on the other side can come into your dreams. (Earth-bound ghosts seem to have a much harder time doing that...)  So it was a good confirmation that her little guy is happy on the other side.

A DOG'S MESSAGE OF A REAL RAINBOW BRIDGE- A woman named Jan stopped by the booth and told Ruthie and I that she had lost her beloved Bassett Hound. However, she said that she recognized a sign from him and told us that right after his passing, she asked his spirit to tell her if he had crossed the "Rainbow Bridge." The Rainbow Bridge is a popular poem about how animals cross into the light in the afterlife. She said that after she asked for a sign she looked up in the formerly rainy sky and there were TWO rainbows! She knew that her Bassett had given her a double sign he was okay.

HUNTER A DOG ON WHEELS - I got to meet an amazing dog who doesn't have the use of his back legs, but his dad got him a wheel-harness and said that "Hunter" doesn't even notice it now. He said that Hunter loves to play fetch and can run like any other dog. That was encouraging because one of our dachshunds had the same spinal surgery that Hunter had, and our little guy is struggling to relearn how to walk.
