This week's idiot is yet another Conservative, who was convicted of child sexual abuse. This is the posting from the Office Of The State Attorney R.J. Larizza, 7th Judicial Circuit court of Florida.
Prather Sentenced to Life in Prison for Cycle of Child Sexual Abuse
DELAND – During a hearing on Wednesday, Volusia County, Florida defendant Trent Prather entered guilty pleas to 15 counts of Sexual Battery on victim less than 12 years of age, two counts of Lewd/Lascivious Molestation on victim less than 12 years of age, Lewd/Lascivious Exhibition on victim less than 16 years of age and 18 counts of Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child. Prather was then sentenced to life in prison for the convictions.
Between May 2025 and March 2026, the defendant recorded himself sexually abusing a nine-year-old victim.
“There are few things in this world that are worse than repeatedly raping a small child,” State Attorney R.J. Larizza said about the case. “Especially when the pedophile videos the rapes for future viewing and trade. It defies explanation.”
The case was investigated by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. Assistant State Attorney Nicholas Kramperth prosecuted the case for the State of Florida. The Honorable Karen Foxman heard the case and imposed sentence.
*********************************************
BACKGROUND: This wasn’t his first time. Prather was convicted in Utah in 2011 on 10 counts of exploiting a minor — and got probation. Utah investigated him again in 2018 after another CyberTip but didn’t prosecute. He then relocated to Florida without registering as a s*x offender.
CHARACTER Facebook history:
—Proud “TRUMP 2020” supporter
—Mocked George Floyd’s murder with pillows shaped like his face, joking they made “awesome knee pads”
—Posted a cotton field photo captioned “FREE BLM SHIRTS,” joking it needed “some assembly required”
— a slavery “joke” at black people’s expense
—Shared an Islamophobic, vulgar joke about Obama’s beard and his marriage and called Michele Obama—former First Lady and athletic black woman—a man
—Called Kyle Rittenhouse — the teen who shot protesters with a rifle — a hero who “doesn’t wear a cape”
Here's yet ANOTHER Republican who harrassed LGBTQ people and accused them of crimes that HE committed! South Carolina Republican State Rep. Robert John "R.J." May III has resigned nearly two months after being indicted on federal charges related to child exploitation. I am SO tired of these Republicans accusing gay and trans people of crimes, and the accusers are committing them. They obviously do it to throw people off their trail. This is another idiot going to jail.

So. Carolina Republican lawmaker RJ May resigns over child sexual abuse material
COLUMBIA, S.C. — Suspended South Carolina State Rep. Robert John "R.J." May III has resigned nearly two months after being indicted on federal charges related to child sexual abuse material.
The South Carolina House Speaker’s Office confirmed May’s resignation on Monday and released a copy of his letter, where May wrote:
“I have decided that it is in the best interest of my family and constituents to resign immediately from the South Carolina House of Representatives. Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from the South Carolina House of Representatives. It has been an honor to serve the people of District 88.”
May, a Republican representing the Lexington area, was indicted in June on 10 federal counts of distributing child sexual abuse material and was suspended shortly after his arrest.
Prosecutor said May used a personal messaging app to send and receive child sexual abuse messages and videos in 2024.
May faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison with a minimum of five years, a fine of $250,000, and a term of at least five years of supervised release to follow any term of imprisonment. May has a pretrial conference hearing scheduled for August 20 in Columbia.
The ultra-conservative South Carolina Freedom Caucus, which May co-founded, released a statement, saying: RJ May's resignation from the South Carolina House of Representatives is long overdue. The people of District 88 deserve true and honorable representation. While we welcome this resignation, we strongly believe that the SC House should have acted to expel RJ May after he was indicted for such heinous crimes. Our hearts are with his victims and his innocent family and we pray for swift justice as this ugly chapter in the South Carolina House of Representatives comes to a close.
This week is an entire Party of Idiots. What has happened to the Republican party?
In March, the Republican fundraiser in Kansas displayed a mannequin that looks like President Biden, so GOP supporters could beat and brutalize it.
They support violence against people, a leader who lies, commits sexual assaults, bribery, payoffs, insults everyone, uses hatred to motivate his followers, mocks people with disabilities, defrauds states in taxes, reveals national intelligence and brainwashes people. The Republican party should be ashamed and needs to clean up its act. The party and all who support it are truly now Deplorable. Here's the story.
A Kansas GOP Fundraiser Let People Kick And Punch A Biden Effigy
Officials for the Kansas Republican Party are crying foul after a fundraiser for the Johnson County GOP featured an effigy of President Joe Biden that attendees could pay to physically assault.
Video from Friday’s “Grand Ol’ Party” event in Overland Park, Kansas, shows people punching, kicking and swinging a bat at a Biden mannequin wearing a “Let’s Go Brandon” shirt.
“This booth was hosted by a Karate school to promote their self defense class,” Maria Holiday, who chairs the Johnson County Republican Party, told The Kansas City Star.
Video of people kicking the Biden dummy was uploaded to the video platform Rumble, but later deleted.
Kansas GOP officials condemned the effigy attacks.
In a Facebook post, former Kansas GOP chairman Mike Kuckelman wrote: “This conduct is shameful, and it is wrong.” He called for the resignations of Holiday, Kansas Republican Party chairman Mike Brown and Johnson County Sheriff Calvin Hayden.
Kuckelman reminded his fellow Republicans that they were outraged “when Kathy Griffin engaged in similar shameful conduct against President Trump” and “rightfully demanded she be cancelled.” He insisted that party members “must speak equally as loudly in our opposition now.”
Kuckelman said that while he didn’t agree with Biden’s policies, “he is a fellow human being” and “no one should condone or defend this horrific and shameful conduct.”
Kansas House Speaker Dan Hawkins (R) said he couldn’t speak to the specifics of Friday’s event, but told the Star that “what may seem like a joke for many will be seen by some as an expansion of acceptable behavior with potentially tragic consequences.”
Republican congressional candidate Dr. Prasanth Reddy, a research oncologist in Johnson County, criticized the effigy attacks on X, saying that “ridiculous, thoughtless actions like this one distract from those trying to deliver solutions.”
In a statement to HuffPost, Holiday admitted the “events last weekend [were] tarnished by a brief incident where a mask depicting President Biden was added to an outside exhibitor interactive self defense display.”
Holiday said “the mask was regrettable and removed” and said “no one collected or solicited any funds or donations in exchange for hitting the training device.”
But plenty of people on social media had strong opinions on the matter ― and, yes, many of them mentioned Griffin’s 2017 photo with a fake bloody Donald Trump head.
If you know anyone in your circle of friends who would make light of physical attack on an 82 year old man, you may think of them is being cruel and idiotic. Well, here's a guy that is newly elected to Congress in Florida who did just that. Now this country is stuck with this week's idiot for years.
NEW FLORIDA GOP REP JOKES ABOUT ATTACK ON PAUL PELOSI
Rep. Cory Mills tweeted a shocking joke about the vicious
home invasion beating of 82-year-old Paul Pelosi, husband of Rep. Nancy Pelosi
(D-Calif.) The ugly tweet was apparently Mills’ version of a celebration of
McCarthy's ascendency to House speaker.
"Finally,
one less gavel in the Pelosi house for Paul to fight with in his underwear,”
wrote Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) on Saturday, January 8, 2023.
The ugly tweet was apparently Mills’ version of a celebration of the ascendency
to House speaker of Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).
Mills was
also making fun of the brutal attack on Paul Pelosi, who was beaten with a
hammer in the middle of the night last October, allegedly by a violent
Republican sympathizer out to
get a list of Democratic targets.
The
American Health Care Act, which narrowly won passage in the House on
Thursday, could transform the nation’s health insurance system and
create a new slate of winners and losers.
Here's an article from the NEW YORK TIMES outlining who benefits and who suffers...
While
the Senate will probably demand changes, this bill, if it becomes law
in its current form, will repeal and replace large portions of the
Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). It will change the rules and subsidies
for people who buy their own insurance coverage, and make major cuts to
the Medicaid program, which funds care for the poor and disabled.
Any
sizable change in our complex health care system leaves some people and
businesses better or worse off. For some, insurance will become more
affordable — or their taxes will be lower. Others will lose out on
financial support or health care coverage. You can see how you might be
affected in our summary of winners and losers.
Losers
Poor people:
Many states would be expected to roll back their expansions of the
Medicaid program to cover childless adults without disabilities. The
bill would also substantially reduce subsidies available for Americans
just over the poverty line, the group that benefited most from
Obamacare’s subsidies. Poor Americans are much more likely to become
uninsured under the bill, according to the Congressional Budget Office, and those who retained coverage would pay much more of their limited incomes on premiums and deductibles.
Older Americans, in most states: The same factors that make the bill better for many young Americans make it worse for those who are older.
Insurance companies could charge a 64-year-old customer five times the
price charged to an 18-year-old one, to cite the most extreme example.
The changes in the subsidy formula would also require older middle-class
Americans to pay a much larger share of their health insurance bill.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that far fewer older Americans
would have insurance coverage under this bill than under the Affordable
Care Act.
People with pre-existing health conditions, particularly in some states. The bill allows states to waive rules on minimum benefit standards and rules that prohibit insurance companies from charging higher prices to customers with a history of serious illness — or even minor diseases. And it could mean their insurance covers fewer medical services.
The benefit changes could also affect Medicaid beneficiaries, and they
could mean cutbacks on coverage for mental health and drug addiction
treatment. States that waive the rule about prices would be required to
set up a program for high-risk customers, and would get some federal
funding to do so, but the details are unclear.
Hospitals: Assessing an earlier version of the bill, the Congressional Budget Office estimated that some 24 million fewer people
would have health insurance in a decade. Some of those people would
still have medical emergencies and require hospital care. Obamacare made
substantial cuts in how much Medicare pays hospitals, on the theory
that they would make up the difference with more paying customers. The
Republican bill does not restore any of the Medicare cuts. Hospitals in
poor communities where a lot of people signed up for Medicaid would
probably experience the biggest hit.
Planned Parenthood: The
bill would prevent Planned Parenthood from receiving any federal money
for one year, a major hit for a health care provider that relies
substantially on payments from Medicaid and the Title X family planning
grant to provide contraception, cancer screenings and other women’s
health services. The bill would also seek to reduce access to abortions,
by preventing federal subsidies from going to any health plan that
covers abortions.
Winners
High-income earners:
The bill eliminates two taxes on individuals earning more than $200,000
or couples earning more than $250,000: a 0.9 percent increase on the
Medicare payroll tax, and a 3.8 percent tax on investment income. It
also allows people to save more money in tax-excluded health savings
accounts, a change most useful to people with enough money to have savings.
Upper-middle-class people without pre-existing health conditions:
The Affordable Care Act cut off subsidies to help people buy their
insurance at an income of around $48,000 for a single person. The
American Health Care Act would let people get government subsidies much higher up the income scale
— up to about $150,000. But the bill allows states to waive rules on
minimum benefit standards and rules that prevent insurance companies
from charging higher prices to customers with pre-existing illnesses.
That means, over all, the gap between the tax subsidies and the cost of
needed care could widen, even for some people who will get extra
financial help.
Young, middle-class people without pre-existing health conditions:
The bill would change how insurance companies price their products in a
way that would lower prices for young customers. It also gives them a
flat subsidy that is, in many cases, higher than what they would receive
under Obamacare. There is some variation by region, and people with pre-existing conditions could be charged higher prices in some states.
People who wish to go without insurance:
The bill would eliminate the individual mandate, which charges a tax
penalty to Americans who can afford insurance but do not obtain it.
People who want less comprehensive health coverage:
The bill allows insurers to offer health plans with higher deductibles
and co-payments, a change likely to lower premiums. Customers in states
that waive benefit rules may also be able to buy plans not covering as
many medical services, like maternity coverage.
Large employers:
The bill eliminates Obamacare’s employer mandate, which required large
employers to offer affordable coverage to their workers. If the bill
becomes law, companies that do not wish to cover their workers will face
no penalty. It frees all large employers of the complex reporting
necessary to enforce the provision. It also pushes back enactment of a
tax on high-cost employer health plans.
Medical device companies, indoor tanning companies and a few other medical industries: The bill rolls back taxes on devices, tanning,
prescription drugs and health insurance products. Some of those
industries may lose a little as well — insurance companies, for example,
may have fewer paying customers.
Here's something from the news in Tennessee last week that clearly shows the hypocrisy and stupidity of the GOP's argument over transgender people using a bathroom. TWO PASTORS were arrested for Sex Trafficking with CHILDREN! Children are 100 times more likely to be abused by religious people than transgender or gay people. Just look at the scandals that rocked the Catholic church for decades from the U.S. to Europe. The Republican argument against transgender people is ridiculous. Instead, they should be worried about their huge voter block of "religious" people.
IN THE NEWS: Tennessee Bureau of Investigation: 2 Pastors Arrested, 32 charged for Sex Trafficking in Undercover Operation STORY FROM KTTN. http://www.kttn.com/tennessee-bureau-of-investigation-2-pastors-arrested-32-charged-for-sex-trafficking-in-undercover-operation/ What's interesting is that they list ALL of the names of the people arrested and what they were charged with... just click the URL STORY: A three-day operation by Special
Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and detectives with
the Knoxville Police Department to combat human trafficking in Knoxville
has resulted in the arrest of 32 men and women on prostitution and
human trafficking-related charges.
The pastors arrested for trafficking children
Two of the men, including a
children’s minister, responded to ads for what they thought were girls
under the age of 18. The Knoxville anti-trafficking operation, called
“Operation Someone Like Me”, is the fifth operation of its kind in the
state between the TBI and partner agencies to help identify, investigate
and prosecute trafficking, and rescue victims.
Here's what the "Pastors" are charged with:
Zubin Parakh, 32, Oak Ridge, TN – Patronizing Prostitution, Trafficking
Jason Kennedy, 46, Knoxville, TN – Patronizing Prostitution, Trafficking
With the partnership including the
Knoxville Police Department, Community Coalition Against Human
Trafficking, End Slavery Tennessee, and Second Life Chattanooga, TBI
Agents and intelligence analysts embarked on an undercover operation to
identify potential victims of trafficking, arrest those seeking to
purchase illicit sex from a juvenile, and learn more about the specific
nuances of this type of crime.
“Finding these people who are trying
to buy Tennessee children is a priority for us,” says TBI Director Mark
Gwyn. “We want anyone responding to these ads to think there may be a
TBI Agent on the other end of it. We will do whatever we can to make a
difference in reducing the human trafficking that takes place in
Tennessee.” During the three-day operation, undercover Agents posted ads on Backpage.com.
During that time, more than 300 contacts were made to those ads. In one
ad the Agents posed as a juvenile girl. That ad received more than two
dozen contacts. “Human trafficking is a scourge on
society,” says Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch. “We will continue to
commit all the necessary resources and work alongside our law
enforcement partners to help protect our most precious resource, our
children.”
“We’re changing the conversation about
human trafficking,” says TBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Margie
Quin. “These operations are designed to identify and help victims of
trafficking, as well as take these predators off the street. With the assistance of nonprofit
agencies Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, End Slavery
Tennessee, and Second Life Chattanooga, the undercover operation
conducted this week also identified potential victims of trafficking.
The women were offered services provided by the nonprofits that include
housing, counseling and addiction treatment. Three women took advantage
of those services and left the operation and were immediately placed in
safe houses. Last year, Governor Bill Haslam signed
legislation into law giving TBI original jurisdiction over
investigations of human trafficking. Additionally, the state legislature
approved funding for four Special Agents, who work exclusively to
investigate human trafficking cases and train law enforcement statewide
on recognizing and combating this type of crime. These four Special
Agents, who have now completed their fifth operation across the state,
have arrested or cited just under 100 individuals during that time. Last year, as part of its commitment
to address this issue, the TBI unveiled a public awareness campaign,
entitled “IT Has To Stop,” which includes online resources, public
service announcements, and contact information for nonprofits who work
with survivors of human trafficking. Visit www.ITHasToStop.com for more information. “OPERATION SOMEONE LIKE ME” STATS Since “Operation Someone Like Me” began in May 2015, there have been 98 arrests/ citations. The investigation was conducted in
Brentwood/ Clarksville, Jackson, Chattanooga (twice, once in conjunction
with Georgia Bureau of Investigation), Knoxville. As a result of “Operation Someone Like Me” this week in Knoxville, 32 individuals were arrested/ cited.
