This week's idiot should have known better since he's a senior citizen and a felon. How in the world he obtained 856 guns as a felon is beyond comprehension. Obviously the system of gun checks is seriously broken. Here's the story.
Man gets 3 years for being a felon with 856 guns

PORTLAND — A Hebron man convicted of being a felon with hundreds of guns was sentenced Monday to three years in federal prison.
A federal jury found 75-year-old Dario Giambro guilty of being a felon in possession of firearms at his two-day retrial in October, two months after the first trial ended in a hung jury.
U.S. District Court Judge George Z. Singal imposed a sentence of three years and a $250,000 fine plus three years on supervised release.
Agents seized 856 guns from his mobile home in January 2022 while executing a search warrant.
Investigators discovered a variety of firearms, including shotguns, rifles, pistols and revolvers. Some were leaning against walls and lying on a bed. Some were in boxes, some in cases and crates. They also recovered a large amount of ammunition.
Giambro was prohibited from possessing firearms due to a prior federal conviction in the District of Maine for possessing an unregistered firearm, which is a felony.
In September 2007, Giambro was convicted by a jury in federal court on a charge that he was in possession of weapon in violation of the National Firearms Act.
His conviction stemmed from having an unregistered firearm among the more than 200 guns in his possession when he lived in Auburn.
Giambro had been free on bond until his sentencing Monday, Jan 8, 2024 when he was taken into federal custody.
