The comments were discovered in a series of op-eds Rao wrote between 1994 and 1996, directly before and after she graduated from Yale University, that resurfaced in the wake of her nomination.
LGBTQ acceptance as a “trendy” political movement and described welfare as something for the “indigent and lazy.”
WHO IS SHE? (source: Newsweek): Rao, 45, is currently the administrator for the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, which sits within the Office of Management and Budget. In November, Trump nominated her to replace Kavanaugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
