One of my (Rob) favorite singers is Alan Jackson, and he's celebrating 20 years in country music with a new CD. I'm looking forward to it!
Alan Jackson will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album with the November 23 release of 34 Number Ones, a double-disc collection that includes... well, Jackson's 34 No. 1 country hits.
But wait, there's more. The collection will also feature two rare tracks ("Look at Me," from the 2008 movie soundtrack Billy: The Early Years, and Jackson's never-before-released version of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire") and new single "As She's Walking Away." The latter track is a collaboration with Zac Brown Band.
Hits on the album include "Here in the Real World," "Gone Country," "Country Boy" and numerous others. Uh, 31 others, to be exact. Later this month, Jackson will receive an ASCAP Founders Award in recognition of his career in song.
