Gingrich-Jones, the openly gay half-sister of former House Speaker and
leading GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich, says she will back
President Barack Obama’s re-election bid. Gingrich-Jones, a director at
the Human Rights Campaign, said that she and her half-brother are
"mutually respectful" but hold different views on gay rights issues. Gingrich is known for his socially
conservative views and has said he opposes gay marriage. Gingrich-Jones,
a director at the Humans Rights Campaign, a gay advocacy group, said he
