As a comic book collector for decades, I love reading the comics from the 1970s and 1980s, because I grew up with them. A couple of months ago, I blogged about the Marvel Comics Film called "Morbius" - the living vampire. (Click here to read the review) - Today's blog is about a Marvel Comics trade paperback collection of the earliest Morbius stories in comics.
"Marvel-verse: Morbius" is a great collection for anyone who doesn't know who the character is- he's Michael Morbius, a nobel prize winning scientist who has a rare health condition and experiments on himself- which turns him into a living (not undead) vampire. - The collection features 5 stories, The first two are a 2-parter from Classic issues of the "Amazing Spiderman" where the character was introduced- GREAT stories!
The second storyline is from Marvel Team up where The Thing/Ben Grimm from the Fantastic Four teams up with Morbius to fight a villain. Also enjoyable. - The last 2 stories didn't do anything for me, but the first two made it worthwhile!
