Last weekend, when I (Rob) flew to Manchester, New Hampshire to do 2 Animal rescue benefits (that you read about yesterday), I had a couple of hours in the morning before I had to be there, so I took myself to breakfast and read the local newspaper. I was excited to read that the New Hampshire Comic-Con was happening THAT DAY in Manchester! So after breakfast I drove to the hotel and the Comic-Con. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love (DC comics) superheroes and attend the Baltimore comic-con annually (Coming up here in October). So, I enjoyed shopping and seeing others in costumes.

MEETING A FELLOW FAN ON MY FLIGHT - Later on the flight home, I met a veterinarian named Mike Lawrence who was also there  and sponsored a fundraiser for turtles. He had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tee shirt on and was standing behind me in the airport to board my plane so we talked!  He was also reading a Spiderman graphic novel onboard while I was reading a Batman graphic novel- so we talked a lot!  My hope is to go to his practice in Tennessee and do a fundraiser there.
