If you're running for office, don't you think that stalking an ex is a pretty dumb thing to do? Well,
apparently this guy in California didn't think so. After he did it, he was arrested. Here's the story.
GOP candidate arrested for allegedly stalking ex-girlfriend, Extortion, Threats
Congressional candidate Omar Navarro was arrested late last night in San Fransicso on extortion, stalking, making criminal threats, and disobeying a court issued domestic relations order preventing him from further contact with Pelosi challenger DeAnna Lorraine. Allegedly after attending a San Francisco Republican Christmas party, she came back to her new apartment in San Francisco to find Navarro outside stalking and threatening her, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
San Francisco police arrested Navarro after his ex-girlfriend, DeAnna Lorraine Tesoriero, reported he had been threatening her that night, according to the Daily Beast, which was the first to report on the arrest. Navarro challenged Waters in 2016 and 2018, and he is again running in 2020.
Tesoriero, a conservative commentator who is in the GOP primary in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s California district, told the Daily Beast she saw Navarro wandering around near her apartment Saturday night. She then received a text message from an unknown number that read: “Bitch, I came to see you.”
