I thought today's post would be appropriate for Halloween week- I love reading mysteries and I love stories with ghosts (or spirits who crossed over) in them and the latest book by Cleo Coyle brings back that combination in the latest Haunted Bookshop Mystery called "The Ghost and the Bogus Bestseller."
Although I think it's been about or more years since the last book in the series, this book picks up where the others left off.
It's about a woman named Penelope who runs a book shop in Quindicott, Rhode Island, and that book shop is the home to a ghost named Jack. Jack was a private eye in the 1940s who was gunned down in the building, which was his office. Pen can hear and see Jack, and together they solve mysteries.
This was another great mystery that was very enjoyable to read, and kept you guessing. I love all of supporting characters, too.
5 of 5 stars!

discovers is more than just fiction. Now, with the help of her gumshoe
ghost, Pen must solve the real-life cold case behind the bogus
bestseller before the killer closes the book on her
