In the entryway of our den (which goes outside to the front of the house), we have had vinyl tiles. Over the past couple
of years since they've been installed they've stopped sticking entirely
to the floor, and lifted a little and that's not a good thing when you're coming in and out. - Of course vinyl tiles near an outside door will always be exposed to more temperature extremes than the rest of the flooring, so that was likely a cause for the issue.
New floor installed!
Since we
had decided to re-do the floor in our upstairs bathroom, and we really
liked thePorcelain ceramic product (and it's available at Lowe's) so we had the same contractor install it in the
front entryway
of the den, too.
