Little Italy Birthday Fun

On Sunday, Sept. 15th we celebrated Tom's mom's birthday a day early and surprised her with an afternoon in Baltimore's Little Italy. We had a great lunch outside on the sidewalk in front of Gennaro's Restaurant (who have amazing grilled chicken sandwiches). Afterward, we walked several blocks to Vaccaro's Italian Bakery Cafe, where we celebrated with dessert. Tom had Gelato, while Mom, (Tom's stepdad) Bob and I enjoyed chocolate hazelnut cake. It was awesome! It's such a pleasure to have such a great family here for me. :)
