Happy 75th Anniversary on the Creation of Superman!

On April 18, 1938 two boys from Ohio created the character of Superman. That means that Superman has been around 75 years! Superman  made his debut in Action Comics No. 1.
 - As a huge Superman fan, I'm (Rob) excited about this milestone. I still collect and read Superman comics every month.

The city of Cleveland—where Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster grew up—had some low-key festivities  for him. The A.P. reports  Cleveland celebrated by lighting its city hall with Superman’s patriotic colors and “giving out birthday cake at the airport’s Superman display.” The mayor has proclaimed the date “Superman day.”

Did you know that there's a Superman exhibit, located on the baggage claim level near carousel 10 in Cleveland's airport? I didn't, and it makes me curious.

The best birthday recognition will come this June when the movie "the Man of Steel" comes out in theaters. It stars hunky, muscular, handsome Henry Cavill of Tudors fame. Can't wait.
