Renovation Update / Storm Door not Storm Proof!

The 1st floor bathroom renovations have picked up again, and a lot of progress has been made this week (Week #6). All of the plumbing is now in for the new shower, and the electric lights are all wired! Today, the drywall was installed, and the floor tiles are being laid down. Yay! Here's picture of the drywall outside the shower).
STORM DOOR, NOT STORM PROOF - We have a really nice looking storm door from Pella, but 2 weeks ago, the lock/handle broke, as it just wouldn't draw the "tongue" back into the lock when the handle was turned. So, the door wouldn't open. We finally got it open, and had to lock the "tongue" in the "open position" leaving the door unable to seal shut. The part is difficult to get, and our contractor ordered it 2 weeks ago, but the place he ordered it from just told him today that they lost the order. The factory is in North Dakota. Wonderful.
Last night, we had a Wind Advisory in Effect. That meant gusty winds (behind a cold front that passed yesterday morning) up to 50 mph! Did they ever gust. Despite trying to get the storm door closed, the wind whipped it open, ripped screws out of the frame, bent the frame and warped the door. So much for a new door (we had it installed early 2009). Our contractor is trying to figure how to save the doorframe, and find a new lockset for the door without having to request one from snowbound North Dakota... "Always Something!"
