The forecast today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 9am, then showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. High near 80. Well, from 5am to 8am, some pretty heavy downpours were happening here, with the crashes of thunder, so not even the dogs wanted to get out of bed. In fact, after Tom made the bed and went to work, Dolly and Franklin insisted on getting back on the bed. They did. Wish I could've stayed in bed all day long, too.
